Recycled Wool Australian Made Blankets (Whipstitch)
Recycled Wool Blankets designed by Seljak are made in Tasmania using offcuts from the factory floor of one of Australia’s oldest mill.
Made from 70% recycled Australian merino wool and a 30% blend of recycled alpaca, mohair and polyester for strength. Finished with undyed fringe hem.
Wool is a natural fibre and a renewable resource. It is odour and stain resistant, antibacterial, lightweight, breathable and insulating!
As Seljak's blankets are handmade from recycled materials, each blanket is truly unique and may vary slightly in colour and texture.
For every 10 blankets sold, we send one to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre - an organisation that helps asylum seekers feel welcome, safe and supported in Australia.

Seljack's Wool Blankets are naturally antibacterial, so all you need to do from time to time is simply leave your blanket to air-out in the sun. Spot clean dirty marks and spills with lukewarm soapy water. If necessary, machine wash at maximum 30 degrees with a gentle wool wash detergent and hang dry. We recommend reducing machine washing to extend the life of your blanket, and not to mention to reduce energy and water consumption!
