Where does theOMshop ship from?

Our warehouse is based in Sydney, so shipping rates vary depending on where your order needs to be delivered to. Given the far proximity, shipping rates and times are slightly higher for deliveries to Western Australia and Northern Territory.

What are the delivery costs for Yoga Mats?

Due to the weight and large size of yoga mats, it is difficult to source inexpensive shipping rates. The shipping rates we charge our customers are actually underquoted, therefore we are not passing on the total cost it takes to ship a yoga mat/prop to our customers. We incur a large percentage of the shipping costs, as we try to make it fair for our customers.

For international orders, please be aware you may have to bear any additional import taxes or duties depending on your country's Customs Laws. theOMshop is not responsible for such charges. 

The 'Free Shipping for orders over $150*' offer is only available to Australian customers with delivery addresses in Australia, excluding Northern Territory. 

When will my order arrive?

For orders placed with Standard Delivery option, orders will be dispatched from our warehouse in Sydney the very next day. 

We will strive to dispatch orders the same day if order are placed before 12pm (AEST) with Express Delivery option.

Can I have my order delivered to a PO Box / Parcel Locker?
Short answer is yes, but we strongly advise against. From our experience Australia Post is not as reliable with sending packages that are large like Yoga Mats and that do not fit in their Pre-Paid Satchels. We use much more trustworthy and efficient Courier Services, which often deliver orders within half the time frame for the same cost, if not cheaper than Australia Postal service. So if you can chose an option to have your order delivered to a residential or commercial address, instead of a PO Box, then we'd strongly recommend it! We can also organise for our Couriers to leave your order in a safe place if you're not home to receive it, e.g. under carport, front door, behind side gate etc.
Can I track my order?

Yes, all Australian orders are trackable. Once you have confirmed your order, you will receive an email with the link to the tracking service. Alternatively, please do not hesitate to contact us on info@theOMshop.com.au if you'd like to find out the status of your delivery. 

Will I need to be home to receive my order?

If you chose to pay for Express Shipping, a signature will most likely be required on delivery. We recommend that to guarantee delivery, your order should be sent to an address where there will be someone to receive it between 9am - 5pm during business days. It is often a good idea to have your order delivered to your work address if you can not guarantee to be home to receive your delivery. 

Alternatively, please provide us with delivery instructions upon checkout e.g. "Authority to Leave" at front door, inside garage, behind side gate etc. 

What if my order is damaged or lost in transit?

We cannot accept responsibility for orders damaged or lost in transit. Please contact the shipping carrier with any direct queries. If you require any further assistance, please contact us at info@theOMshop.com.au

What if I'm unsure about my purchase?

We are more than happy to provide assistance with helping you select the most suitable yoga mat or accessory for you. Please don't hesitate to contact us on info@theOMshop.com.au if you have any questions or require assistance. After all, Yoga is our thing! Our speciality is offering a selection of the best eco-friendly Yoga Mats and Accessories currently on the market! 

How do I “break in” my new Yoga Mat?

Much like a new pair of shoes, there is a break-in period for most yoga mats. The more the mat is used, the grippier it becomes! So please don't be concerned if you find you're slipping a little during your first few practices on your new yoga mat. Obviously if you practice hot or dynamic flow yoga, you might slip in the beginning more so than those who practice yin or restorative yoga. 

The break-in period varies from mat to mat depending on what it's made from. Typically, it takes about two months of regular practice for the friction of feet and hands to naturally break-in and wear the top surface of your new yoga mat.

To speed up the break-in period, you can try dusting a little salt on your new yoga mat and leave to sit for 24 hours, then remove with a damp cloth. Leaving your new yoga mat out in direct sunlight can also help, as well as cleaning it regularly with the all-natural DETOX Mat Spray.

If you're concerned about slippage, we recommend pairing your Yoga Mat with a Mat Overlay-Towel. Whether your mat is new or old, an Mat Overlay-Towel is a great way to add an absorbant and hygienic layer, especially during sweaty practices!

Do you offer a return policy?

RETURNS POLICY

theOMshop wants you to love our yoga mats and accessories as much as we do!

We want you to be 100% happy with your order, therefore we'd like to offer a fast and easy return policy if for any reason you are not satisfied with your order upon receiving it.

By processing your payment and completing an order with us, you are accepting the following terms and conditions.

If you would like to return your order for any reason, we ask for you to please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. You will need to arrange return delivery at your own cost e.g. via your local Australia Post Office. Please make sure to email us the tracking number for our records. Once we have received and processed your returned order, we will issue you with either a full refund/exchange/store credit (excluding shipping charges).

Please note: we do not credit original shipping costs unless the item is faulty or there was a dispatch error made by theOMshop. The cost of return shipping is at the customer’s expense and is non-refundable except in the case of fault or dispatch error by theOMshop.

Orders are eligible to be returned for a full Refund, Exchange or Store Credit, if:

  • Your order is faulty or a dispatch error was made by theOMshop; 
  • Your order is lodged within 14 days of receiving it; 
  • Your order is returned in it's original packaging with labels intact; and
  • Your order was purchased at full price, i.e. your order was not purchased:
    • From our sale collection
    • During a flash sale

Under Australian Consumer Law, we are not required to provide a refund on final sale items if you change your mind so please choose carefully. However, you can choose a refund or replacement if a final sale item was faulty. 

Returns will not be accepted if:

  • The return has been lodged outside of the allowed return timeframe (14 days); or
  • Your order appears to have been used (i.e. marks or a odors); or
  • Your order is not returned in it's original packaging with labels intact.

AfterPay:

At the moment, we can not offer refunds for orders paid with AfterPay. However, we can offer a Store Credit or Exchange. 

 

RETURNS PROCEDURE
  1. Email info@theOMshop.com.au to place a Request for Return. Please outline reasons for return, and your order number. 
  2. Upon receiving confirmation from us, we will provide you with our Returns Address for you to organise your order to be delivered to. 
RETURNS CONDITIONS

Items may only be returned once you've received confirmation from us.
Returns must be received in original condition – unused, unwashed, with all packaging and labels intact. 
If your return does not meet our Returns Policy it may be returned to you and you will be liable for the return postage cost.

Every endeavour is made to ensure returns are processed within 5 business days of receiving your returned order.

What if my item is faulty?

FAULTY ITEMS

All items are thoroughly inspected before being sent out to customers, however in the rare event of a manufacturing fault you will be entitled to a Replacement.

If you believe your order has a fault, please email info@theOMshop.com.au with a description of your order and of the fault. Faulty orders will not be accepted unless they are in original condition with packaging and labels intact. In the case of a faulty item, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving your order to be entitled to a Replacement.
